30A Rentals
Planning a trip to 30A? I wanted to share the homes I’ve booked in hopes of making your booking process easier. I will add a short description to each home that should help you decide if it’s the right home for your stay. Please let me know if you have any questions! *This post is not sponsored or affiliated with any rental managements or booking websites. I am simply sharing places that I’ve personally booked.
- I booked this place for my family & I back in 2020. The townhouse was a great layout, spacious, and clean. Blue Mountain is (in my opinion) the least desirable place to stay at on 30A simply because it’s the furthest away from everything. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing vacation, this home/area would be perfect for you.
- I will add a photo of a map so you can see where Blue Mountain is. It is at the very beginning (west end) of 30A. As you work your way towards Grayton, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove, Alys, Rosemary, Inlet, etc. it becomes more developed with more restaurants and shopping options. With that said, however, you can still hop in your car and go for a short derive to any of these other little beach towns for food and shopping. Again, if you are wanting a quiet place to stay, Blue Mountain is a great option. It also seems to be on the more affordable side compared to the other little “towns”.
- This home is right next to Blue Mountain Bakery where you can walk and grab breakfast. On this trip, we had dinner one night at Blue Mable 30A which I believe is now renamed to Southern Belle 30A. Other nights, we drove to Seaside and Alys for dinner.
- This home is steps from the beach and has a community pool.
- 2-3 miles from Watercolor and Seaside communities
All of the little “towns” are a short drive, bike ride or walk away depending on where you are staying.
Blue Mountain is on the West end of 30A and Inlet Beach is on the East end. I personally prefer to stay between Seaside and Inlet Beach. If I had to narrow it to my top 2 areas to stay, it would be Alys Beach or Rosemary/Inlet Beach. I can touch on why later!
*** This home is currently unavailable due to a fire. We stayed here in 2023 and absolutely LOVED it. I am not sure when it will be remodeled and available again. However, we recently booked the house next to this one and loved it just as much. This is hands down our favorite area to stay in Rosemary with family. More details later.
We stayed at Chloe’s Cottage during the week of July 4th (2024). More details later!
More details later, but this is the place that I booked for my family when we stayed in Rosemary at Chloe’s Cottage for July 4th. My family loved it so much that they want to stay here every time we come to Rosemary now. This condo has 2 large Primary suites with their own large private baths. There is also a bunkbed area in the condo for kids + a pullout couch.
Details later - This property is not on the beach side (1 mile from beach). It is more inland. However, it is still a nice location especially for the price + it has a golf cart.
This 1 bedroom 1 bath cottage is conveniently located in Seaside. The cottage can accommodate small families, as the couch is a pullout sleeper sofa. Sunrise Cottage is one block from downtown Seaside Central Square and only 194 feet from the beach. We stayed here during the week of Thanksgiving and it was a wonderful stay! The square was beautifully decorated in Christmas lights. We booked through the Homeowners Collection Vacation Rentals and they are were so great to book through. Management sent informative check-in and checkout-out details. They were also kind enough to send someone over to greet us as soon as we checked in to make sure we were settled in okay. Though there is not an oven or dishwasher, the kitchen does have a fridge, freezer drawers, microwave, coffee pot, and two burner electric stove top. I’ll note that the cottage is only 1.5 miles from Publix so you can easily get groceries yourself or through a Instacart. The cottage comes with 2 complimentary bikes and one parking pass for side street parking. For more space, please note that this cottage is the guesthouse to another Seaside favorite, A Beautiful Day.
During our stay, we dined at some of our favorites: Surfing Deer, Bud & Alley’s, The Wine Bar in Watercolor and a few of the food trucks in downtown Seaside Central Square.
